Frequently Asked Questions

Is your service really free to try?

It’s completely free to try. There is only a fee if we succeed, and our fee is 30% of your total savings over 1 or 2 years, depending on the deal your provider will offer our negotiators. We only win if you win.

Can you give me an example of my savings vs. your fee?

Let’s say we save you $750 on your TV and Internet bill over two years. Our 30% fee would be $225 and you’d wind up pocketing an extra $525 cash with almost no effort on your part.

Is your fee upfront?

Yes, our fee is upfront, and it is an excellent investment into long-term savings. (A lesson our parents all taught us!) A customer will make back our fee in 3-6 months and will go on to save big. Also, our negotiators are pretty good at getting a little extra off the first month of your new savings, which really helps with the upfront fee.

How high does my bill have to be before you can help?

It really depends on the bill, but a general safe rule is that most providers give you a 1 or 2 year initial deal when you sign up. If that deal has expired, (if you’ve had your provider longer than 1-2 years), it’s always worth looking into.

Will I lose any channels or services important to me?

No. We never let this happen. We lower your bills using two different methods. First and foremost, we can often get you straight credits on your account without modifying anything at all. After this process, we will look at your account and see if you happen to be paying for anything you never use. Often times there are hidden or unadvertised plans available we can get you on that will meet all your needs, and many people don’t know about them. Call it a little extra insider’s knowledge from having previously worked within these industries

What kind of insider’s knowledge do you mean?

The owner and founder of Slice the Price was a previous independent contractor working with many of the entertainment industries for over 12 years, almost exclusively in the sales of new accounts. He got fed up with having to switch customers around to different companies to help them save money, and realized he had all the knowledge and experience he needed to start his own business, getting those same customers better deals without going through the hassle of changing them to someone new. He is also fed up with how unjustly these companies treat their loyal customers, and loves helping everyday folk take money back from monopolized corporations.

Do I have to give you my personal information?

All we really need from most customers is basic information like name, address, phone number, email, etc… A few service providers require the last 4 of your SSN to access your account. If you’re not comfortable giving that out, we have other tried and true methods to still gain access, no problem. In either case, all of your information is protected by law.

There really isn’t any risk, is there?

Not at all, and that really is the best part. We’re so confident in what we do, that if we wind up not able to help you, you don’t pay any fee at all. You have absolutely nothing to lose, and we’re eager to help you.
